HELLO PEOPLE :D
It’s Charlene. Am very honoured to join the ultra-fabulous inkedgazette team! YAY.
I’m supposed to write the cover story, so my topic is… Holidays!
What’s so great about holidays? What do you like most about holidays? Is it waking up late, or not going to school, or having lots of free time?
Would you still like holidays if you had to wake up at 5am, but you could stay at home all day, but you had to occupy your time with stuff, like chores? Would you still like holidays if you can wake up late, but you have to go to school?
Wait. Would that still be considered as a holiday, then?
I like holidays because of all three! Just the word “holidays” makes me very happy. Like nice colours do! (:
Although I wish that the holidays could be longer, but 1 week is better than nothing, right? We should treasure our holidays!
Oh yes, 6A outing is in the March holidays, so… YIPPEE! :D

Hey guys. Sorry for the late late late post. Due to all our busy work and exams this month we don't have time to keep IG alive D:
Anyways thanks for visiting. OUR QUIZ IS DONE!!! YAY.
For the implementation of birthday cards, we're really sorry because as we've said [due to our overwhelming work and exams this month] we don't have time D: REALLY REALLY SORRY.

And the party thing will be postponed to march holidays. WHERE HAPPINESS AND JOY REIGN. Maybe not exactly, but still is a HIP HIP HOORAY.

In any case, IG sends a thousand apologies for these changes.

Cover Story: POLICY FOR STUDENTS. AHHHH.

First of all we are too busy.
Too busy to sleep. To have fun. To meet with our primary school friends. TO ENJOY OUR LAST BITS OF PRE-TEEN LIFE.
Torture. And yes we have a lot of things to comment.
But right now we cant think of anything to say. Except complaining about Sec 1 school life. How it ~~sucked~~ sucks (it is still sucking) and how our remaining years will suck more.
We should have a policy for students that says :

Less homework each day. For brain to function more properly sometimes instead of rattling on about Real Number Systems and Estimations.
Nicer teachers.
$100 per person if they fall sick. For the first time in a year.
Less boring lessons. if they want students to study well, let the lessons be less of a bulldozer and more of a game! So people would not want to fall sick or miss lessons but RUSH TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY IN EXCITEMENT [instead of in fear of being booked for being late]
And they should have one day in the afternoon, one day in the morning. For people to sleep more. So more homework for days in morning so they can rest assure to sleep well and less for lessons in afternoon [cos next day's a morning session].

See so effective. Um think we'll just leave the fun things at the back.

Hmm. The first week of school is finally over. We're sure everything was new to you. New school for a start, new classrooms, new friends. Let's check the checklist. Have you done the following steps?

#1. Get to know your school compound, without getting lost!
#2. Introduce yourself to your class.
#3. Get to know your classmate's names.
#4. Make new friends. ( Of course not forgetting your old ones :D )
#5. Bond and communicate with your new friends.

It is like Primary 1 all over again, isn't it? Hopefully all of you will be able to fit in with your classes :D I'm sure orientation has helped with that! Games, school tours, camps.

Also, I'm sure most of you have to choose a cca. A cca that will be stuck with you for 4 years D; Looking at the diversity of ccas the secondary school offers, I'm sure we are all spoilt for choice.. Shit. However, some are spared from the misery. Yeah, people who dsa-ed or appeal-ed with ccas. Envious much. [D;]

Still, IG wishes you all the best in your secondary school (:

Okay. Some tips to face 2009. (Though we ourselves are not too sure about it also?)

Prioritise. Like, do your homework first before using the computer?
Be positive. Don't get so oh-so-stressed. It seriously affects you. Relieve your stress. Play basketball, listen to music, screech in your bathroom or your bedroom etc.
Remember, life is short, break the rules, forgive and forget quickly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you smile.

Whatever may happen, good time management is the key. Why do we sound like teachers or counsellors? (This really sucks.)
